About the Event
Forest Bathing is great for your health. It originated in Japan called Shinrin-yoku that means taking in the forest through your senses. Walk mindfully. Breathe deeply. Connect to nature through your ears, eyes, nose, mouth, hands and feet as you release stress, boost your immune system, lower blood pressure and improve your mood! This mindful experience is a 2 to 3 mile slow paced walk with limited conversation. The walk is approximately 1.5 hours. There will be a 10 – 15 minute pause to just be. Discover that nature can provide a sanctuary to relax, replenish and release stress for your body, mind and spirit.  We'll meet at the entrance of the trailhead. NOTE: This FREE Mindful Experience is sponsored by iThirst Initiative Ministry at St. Jude's Parish in Norfolk
