Angela Cote

200-hour E-RYT and 300-hour RYT

Angela is the creator of Sacred Tree Yoga Studio and Wellness Center. She received a BA in Business from Norwich University prior to becoming yoga certified in 2010 thru Finding Inner Peace Yoga 200 hour program. She is a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance with a designation of E-RYT (over 1000 teaching hours). She received a Fluid Assisting Certification in 2015 from Kevan Gale of Stil Yoga, a Yin certification through Open Doors Yoga in 2015, and a second certification of Yin and Meditation with Sagel Urlacher in January 2018.  Angela has completed an additional 300 hour yoga certification in November 2018 with Jacqui Bonwell of Sacred Seeds Yoga School where she also received a Balanced Athlete - Level One Certification with Johnny Gillespie in October 2017. In May 2019, she successfully completed a special training for offering yoga and mindfulness in prisons and jails with James Fox, founder of the Prison Yoga Project.


She is a licensed massage therapist through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and certified by the Massage Institute of New England. Angela is a certified Usui Reiki Ryoho Master Teacher and has been practicing since 2002. She certifies students for all levels of Reiki. Angela has created Sacred Tree Yoga School and will begin certifying yoga teachers through the credentialing of the Yoga Alliance in 2019. She is also CPR/AED certified. Angela is grateful and feels privileged to have a space available to the community providing tools for the wellness for the mind, body, and spirit.

Cathy Shea Sonnenberg

200-hour RYT

Cathy began practicing yoga in 1996. In 2013 she received her 200-hour yoga certification through The Yoga Studio in Millis, MA. She is a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. Cathy is a Reiki Master Practitioner and incorporates this within her practice. She is CPR/AED certified. For Cathy, yoga is about mindfulness and being in the present moment, which allows us to balance ourselves spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Gina Delprete

500-hour RYT

Gina completed her 200 and 300 Yoga Teacher Training at the Yoga Studio in Millis, Ma. She is registered with the National Yoga Alliance and is CPR/AED certified. Gina is also a certified Usui Reiki Ryoho second degree practitioner. She closely studied The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and engaged in classical alignment based physical practice to ensure the teachings of safe and therapeutic poses. Gina has also studied Yoga for depression and anxiety. Yoga holds meaning on many different levels to a variety of practitioners. To Gina, yoga is honoring yourself and becoming the best version of whatever that may be. She is honored and would love nothing more than to help people find their best version and to guide them in becoming so strong that nothing disturbs their peace of mind.

Sheila Hassan

200-hour RYT

Sheila has been practicing yoga since 2012. She was drawn to yoga with her very first class. The combination of yoga as a moving meditation, with improving both mental and physical strength has made consistent practice a cornerstone of her health. She graduated from a 200-hour transformative yoga teacher training at the Yoga Studio in Millis. Sheila is a nurse practitioner and is certified in CPR/AED. She enjoys sharing her passion for yoga by teaching alignment based classes that build both physical and mental strength and flexibility.

Jacqui Bonwell

500 E-RYT Special Guest Instructor

Jacqui is a 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT-500), Level 1 Balanced Athlete Certified Coach, Yin Yoga & Meditation Certified, Level 1 FMS Functional Movement System Certified, Reiki Master, Yoga Life Coach, and Director of Sacred Seeds Yoga School in the Greater Boston and New England. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Rhode Island.  She does considerable amount of philanthropy through Yoga for organizations such as Children's Hospital, MGH and Veterans Homebase Program to local organizations and families in need. Her most important credential and greatest training has been Motherhood.
